CineMEKKA Utrecht

CineMEKKA is a Dutch concept, founded by a creative group of people and based in Utrecht.

Every month people get the possibility to watch a movie at a particularly location: The Cathedral of Metal in Utrecht. It's quite funny, because you have to sit down at chesterfields or beach chairs. The crazier, the better! Recently, people brought their own meal with them. Most visitors are students of schools like the design academy, people with a creative mind. You have to pay only 5 euros for having a great night out. Sounds really good, isn't it?

The intention of the founders is taking 'movies' to a higher level, but they also want to create more 'togetherness'. Today, most people are too busy and easily forget making time for each other. CineMEKKA is the ideal place for being together, sharing creative ideas and having a great night out without a smartphone.
