Eau d'Amsterdam

Amsterdam will get their own perfume. Eau d'Amsterdam, Scent of the Canal Trees is founded by the art duo Saskia Hoogendoorn and Lieuwe Martijn Wijnands and perfume designer Tanja Deurloo.

The perfume is an homage to the popular Amsterdam olm tree. There are 75.000 trees of them straggling throughout Amsterdam. People feel connected when they smell the scent of their favorite city or home town. These times they want to find a balance between the future and where it all began. Now they will have the authencity of their city always with them.
